PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil hardener rapidly hardening treating soil such as produced soil, etc., in a pH without making trouble in the growth of plant, and having a good quality stability. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the soil hardener for hardening soil, comprising 20-80 wt.% of magnesium oxide and 80-20 wt.% of calcium carbonate, and if requested at least one kind of strength improving agent selected from calcium sulfate, slug, magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride and sodium bicarbonate, and an acid agent, organic polymer coagulant, and/or water absorbent.
