ELECTRONIC CONNECTION BOX AND ITS METHOD OF ASSEMBLY

An electronic connection box and a method for its assembly where the connection box includes a first connector (40) for electrically connecting electronic devices to an external circuit and further includes a cylindrical part (21) having an opening portion. The first connector is formed in the shape of a receptacle with a recessed part (46) positioned within the cylindrical part and adapted to fit over a seond connector (101) having a projecting part which is also fitted inside the cylindrical part. One or more ribs (44) are formed on an inner surface of the recessed part and one or more ribs (24) are formed on an inner surface of the opening portion which are respectively aligned with each other to form one or more generally straight guide ribs to position pins of the first connector and pins of the second connector to be connected to each other. The ribs (44) formed on the inner surface of the recessed part include chamfered ends (44A) which are aligned with the ribs formed on the inner surface of the opening portion.
