A butterfly valve having a pair of body sheets is provided to improve durability with an increased life span by selectively using one of two body sheets. A butterfly valve having a pair of body sheets includes a body(10), a disk(20), a rotary shaft(30), and body sheets(12). The body has a hollow therein. The disk is rotatably fixed inside the body, rotates around the rotary shaft, and takes control of flow of fluid by rotating toward the body sheets or rotating away from the body sheets. The rotary shaft is powered by an additional device, is inserted in a shaft hole formed on the disk, and rotates the disk for controlling the flow of the fluid. The body sheets are formed on both sides of an inside of the body having a distance from the rotary shaft.
