摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cross-connect device which attains cost reduction by decreasing the numbers of not only optical switches, but also wavelength selection switches. <P>SOLUTION: The optical cross-connect device has a plurality of wavelength selection switches which select specified wavelength light input thereto respectively and are disposed in parallel, a plurality of optical circulators which are disposed in front of and behind the wavelength selection switches, respectively, and output light input from a first port to a second port through a nonreciprocal part and light input from the second port to a third port through the nonreciprocal part, and an optical switch connected to an optical circulator disposed behind the wavelength selection switch or the wavelength selection switch and switching input wavelength light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
