<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device capable of judging key operations more appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: A movement state quantum is calculated by a formula 1: the movement state quantum=key depression depth×a+key speed×b+key acceleration×c+d according to the obtained key depression depth, key speed, key acceleration, coefficients a, b, and c, and a constant number d. When the movement state quantum exceeds the first prescribed value A (time t1), it is judged that a key is depressed. When it is judged that the key is depressed, note-on information is outputted to a sound source 20.
