<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system allowing a consumer to make a selection among varied payment methods and payment financial institutions without visiting any payment place. <P>SOLUTION: Storage data including an amount billed, commission company information, a billing ID, payer information and the like are previously stored in a metadata storage part 11, while a URL including a network address of the settlement system 1 and the billing ID is embedded in a QR code to be written on a bill 20. A payer 2 photographs the QR code on the bill 20 by a camera installed in a cellular phone to access the settlement system 1. The settlement system 1 is provided with a bill retrieval part 15 searching the metadata storage part 11 by using the billing ID transmitted from the payer 2 to acquire the storage data, a selection screen generation part 16 generating a screen prompting the payer to select one of a plurality of payment methods, and a settlement execution part 17 making the cellular phone of the payer 2 and a settlement site of a financial company 5 of the selected payment method cooperate with each other for performing settlement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
