<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring separation from felled tree, capable of easily and certainly obtaining, in a felling site, the separation distance between an a cable and the tree and a determination result of whether it can be felled, and to provide an elevation measurement tool. <P>SOLUTION: A first distance h<SB>t</SB>from a base end B of a tree 38 to a top A and a second distance L from the base end B of the tree 38 to a cable 36 are calculated based on the input information based on the relation of a measuring point M as a reference of measurement, the tree 38, and the cable 36, and a third distance X between the tree 38 and the cable 36 is calculated based on the difference between the second distance L and the first distance ht. The calculated third distance X is compared with a preset reference separation distance; the propriety of the felling is determined, and the determined determination result is reported. In the felling side, the separation distance X between the tree 38 and the cable 36 at the felling time and the propriety of felling can be obtained by an easy and certain method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
