PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a video image such as program advertisement under viewing as capture data and to reserve a program while watching the capture data. SOLUTION: This program reservation device reserves and executes user viewing or recording of program data received through broadcast waves, is provided with an acceptance means for accepting a reservation request from a user, a first storage means for storing image data of a first channel displayed on a display part when the reservation request is accepted by associating it with channel information indicating the first channel, an input acceptance means for displaying picture information including the image data and the channel information on the display part to accept input of date and time information of a reserved program and a reservation information holding means for generating reservation information based on the date and time information whose input is accepted by the input acceptance means and the channel information to store the reservation information and executes the viewing or the recording of the reserved program based on the reservation information.
