PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a plurality of controllers for controlling corresponding vibration reductions in a plurality of frequency bands, in consideration of both control performance in terms of noise suppression, responsiveness and the like, and robust stability. SOLUTION: In the design of one of the plurality of controllers, a model error is computed from an object controlled by the one controller in a state of feedback about the one controller from one or more controllers other than the one controller, and a weight function satisfying robust stability is computed with the use of the model error. This can determine the model of each divided frequency band in low dimensions to shorten the modeling calculation time and increase the modeling accuracy. The design of each band controller from the low dimensional model corresponding to the band can implement efficient control system design and low dimensional construction of the designed controllers.
