PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration detector excellent in temperature sensitivity stability, and operable stably without being damaged even when a strong acceleration is applied. SOLUTION: The acceleration detector includes a reference oscillation circuit 2 for outputting a reference signal, the first resonance circuit 4 for phase-shifting the output signal from the reference oscillation circuit 2, based on a resonance frequency determined by the first tuning fork type quartz oscillation element 20a, the second resonance circuit 8 for phase-shifting the output signal from the reference oscillation circuit 2, based on a resonance frequency determined by the second tuning fork type quartz oscillation element 20b, an LPF 7 for comparing a phase of an output signal output from the first resonance circuit 4 with a phase of an output signal output from the second resonance circuit 8, by a phase comparison circuit 6, and for extracting a low-band component of a phase difference signal therein, and a high-gain amplifying circuit 11 for amplifying an output signal output from the LPF 7, and an output from the high-gain amplifying circuit 11 is output as an acceleration detection signal, and is fed back as a control voltage to the second resonance circuit 8.
