PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a joint for a synthetic resin fluid pipe, preventing damage or turning up of a seal member even when the fluid pipe with its end obliquely cut is inserted. SOLUTION: The joint into which the fluid pipe is inserted and which unremovably connects the fluid pipe includes: the annular seal member 23 mounted to an annular groove 22e formed in an inner cylinder 22 and brought in tight contact with the inner peripheral surface of the inserted fluid pipe; and a sleeve 27 which is movably mounted along the inner cylinder 22 on the peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 22, which is provided with an engagement portion formed on the peripheral surface and engaged with the fluid pipe, and which is push-pressed and moved along the inner cylinder 22 by the fluid pipe by inserting the fluid pipe to thereby crush the seal member 23 in a diameter contracting direction by the inner peripheral surface. A projecting portion 28 projecting further outward of the outside diameter of the sleeve 27 is provided between the end of the inner cylinder 22 and the sleeve 27. The fluid pipe gets over the projecting portion 28 to thereby avoid the contact of the fluid pipe with the end surface of the sleeve 27. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
