PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a pump device frequently repeats a start and a stop even if a customer does not use water when water slightly leaks from the pump device to a delivery side pipe. SOLUTION: The pump device is provided with a pressure sensor detecting pressure in a pressure tank and a control means controlling a motor based on detection signal of the pressure sensor. The control means executes control to stop the motor when detected pressure value Ps of the pressure sensor reaches first set pressure P1 and change of the detected pressure value is not recognized, re-start the motor when predetermined time elapses after stop, and stop the motor when the detected pressure value Ps reaches second set pressure P2 (P1+ΔP) which is high pressure than the first set pressure P1.
