PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can lid for a beverage metal can, which is excellent in pressure resistance strength to restrain buckling generation accompanying abnormal increase of the inner pressure and having a reduced thickness, and provide a manufacturing method for the can lid. SOLUTION: Distortion in the roundness of an outer wall 3a of a reinforcing annular groove 3 generated by a panel form molding step after the panel form molding process to mold a panel recess part 6 and a finger recess 11 in a conversion press processing step is corrected by a roundness correcting processing applying a processing force to the outer wall 3a.
