RECALCIFICATION PROMOTER AND COMPOSITION FOR ORAL CAVITY

It is intended to provide a recalcification promoter for the dental enamel, which can highly effectively promote the recalcification of the dental enamel and strongly inhibit tooth decay, and a composition for the oral cavity. Namely, a recalcification promoter for the dental enamel and a composition for the oral cavity characterized by comprising amorphous hydroxyapatite and/or amorphous hydroxyapatite showing two peaks at 2?=31 to 35° in X-ray diffractometry. This amorphous hydroxyapatite can be obtained by reacting a calcium salt with a phosphoric acid salt in an aqueous solution and drying at a temperature of 10 to 70°C.
