ELVAN PAD FOR ROASTING FOOD

An elvan pad for roasting food is provided to improve the generation ratio of far infrared ray and reduce cooking time by attaching a paste to sheets selected from a cotton fabric, a non-woven fabric, and a paper sheet. An elvan pad for roasting food comprises at least one or two sheets, selected from a cotton fabric, a non-woven fabric, and a paper sheet, attached to two sides of a paste(3). The paste with the thickness of 3 to 5 mm consists of elvan of 15 to 35 %, nephrite of 15 to 30 %, biotite of 17 to 32 %, charcoal of 5 to 15 %, mud of 3 to 10 %, and vegetable glue of 15 to 35 %. The elvan is mixed by power of 100 to 120 mesh and 300 to 325 mesh in the weight ratio of 1:1. The nephrite is the power of 100 to 325 mesh having refractive index of 1600, specific gravity of 2.90, and mohs hardness of 6. The biotite is the power of 100 to 325 mesh. The charcoal such as black charcoal is the powder of 100 to 120 mesh having volatile matter of 12 to 25 %, fixed carbon of 66 to 80 %, moisture of 5 to 10 %, hardness of 5 to 8 %, and a specific surface area of 380 to 420 %. The mud is the ground powder of 50 to 100 mesh. The vegetable glue is mixed by starch powder of 9 to 98 %, and salt water of 2 to 3 %.
