A staple cartridge fitted to a medical stapler for suturing a wound includes staple storage chambers (8) each storing one skin staple (10). Each staple storage chamber (8) has a guide groove (11) for guiding the leg parts (10b) of the skin staple (10) in the driving-out direction and a support part (12) so supporting the skin staple that it does not move by itself in the driving-out direction.
