COOLING METHOD FOR LAN BOARD OF PROJECTOR AND PROJECTOR ADOPTING COOLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method used for optical components of a projector and also used for the LAN board of the projector. SOLUTION: The projector has a LAN board 800 having thereon an integrated circuit. The projector has the optical components that include liquid crystal panels corresponding to red light, green light and blue light and a polarization beam splitter (PBS). The projector has fans for cooling the optical components near the optical components. Cooling ducts include an air duct 411 for the liquid crystal panel corresponding to each color light, having one end connected to the fan 41 out of the fans and another end having an outlet for sending air to the liquid crystal panel corresponding to each color light. The cooling ducts also include a branching air duct 412 that extends to the integrated circuit on the LAN board in the cooling duct. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
