<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with an SSD method and a 1 spot PP method without changing a front end circuit. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk apparatus 1 supplies the front end circuit 50 having a generalized circuit with arithmetic signals P(P1) to P(P5) obtained by performing prestage arithmetic processing to detection signals DA to DM corresponding to the constitution of the general circuit to generate a reproduction sum signal SPI, a focus error signal SFE and a tracking error signal STE based on the front end (3) method, (4) method and (1) method by the poststage arithmetic processing of the front end circuit 50, thereby realizing the optical disk device and an optical pickup which can generate the focus error signal, the tracking error signal and the reproduction sum signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
