<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control a polarized wave front of light propagated through a sensor fiber in an optical fiber current sensor, without depending on a wavelength of the light. <P>SOLUTION: This optical fiber current sensor includes a polarized wave control means 20 constituted of the second sensor fiber 21, and a current coil 22 disposed to surround the second sensor fiber 21, regulates a control current I<SB>ctrl</SB>flowing in the current coil 22, and controls thereby the polarized wave front of the linear polarized light incident into the first sensor fiber 11 for measuring a current I to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
