<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam scanning device capable of improving the searching performance by reducing the dispersion of directional gain with simple constitution without enlarging the scale of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The beam scanning device for controlling the beam having an uneven directional gain sequentially selects one from among the prescribed beam scanning angles, and also includes a scanning angle selector 11b for generating a first scanning angle signal corresponding to the selected beam scanning angle, a noise generator 14 for generating noise, a noise adder 13 for setting the noise adding region based on a plurality of beam scanning angles and generating a second beam scanning angle signals corresponding to the beam scanning angles obtained by adding the random numbers obtained by applying at least either one of the translation or scaling to the noise generated by the noise generator 14 in accordance with the noise adding region to the beam scanning angles corresponding to a first beam scanning angle, and a scanning angle control part 6 for generating the antenna control signal indicating the pointing direction of the antenna based on the second beam scanning angle signal generated by the noise adder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
