PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily input data for authentication for restriction cancel without changing a current style in a portable terminal device capable of changing a device body into a plurality of styles by changing a state where a display part case and an operation part case are disposed. SOLUTION: In a state where a terminal lock cancel table 22 by styles and a function restriction cancel table 23 by styles store and manage correspondence of styles and authentication means, a CPU 1 selects an authentication means corresponding to the current style from among three kinds of authentication means (password authenticating means, fingerprint authenticating means and face authenticating means) by referring to the terminal lock cancel table 22 by styles and the function restriction cancel table 23 by styles on the basis of a current style detected by a style detecting sensor 18, and when it is authenticated by the authentication means that the user is authorized, terminal lock setting is canceled or a use restriction of a selected function is canceled.
