PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate feeding a viscous fluid material into a tank. SOLUTION: An auxiliary device 1 is utilized in order to feed the viscous fluid material into a tank having a manhole. The auxiliary device 1 includes a holding part 30 that holds a container storing the viscous fluid material therein, with its opening part facing downward, on the inside of the manhole, an ejection nozzle 40 that ejects liquid into the interior of the container through the opening part, and a solution-sending pipe 50 whose one end communicates with the ejection nozzle 40 and whose other end is provided with a coupler 55.
