PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel stopper capable of easily preventing casual movement of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The wheel stopper 10 is mounted to a fixing frame 50 fixed to a vehicle. The wheel stopper 10 is equipped with a rotation prohibiting member 12 which is disposed at the prohibiting position 54 formed in an interspace between a ground surface G and the wheel 52, and prohibits the rotation of the wheel 52. The rotation prohibiting member 12 is wedge-shape, and the rotation of the wheel 52 is selectively moved at either the non-prohibiting position 54 which does not prohibit the rotation of the wheel 52 or the prohibiting position 54 by a movement mechanism 20. The movement mechanism 20 is equipped with a cylinder 30 having a cylinder shaft 32 where the rotation prohibiting member 12 is detachabley mounted to the tip end part 32a. The rear end part of the cylinder is mounted to a bracket 14 so as to be able to turn accompanying expansion and contraction of the cylinder shaft 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
