PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capturing efficiency for dust and dirt in a centrifugal dust collector, and in addition, to maintain the dust collecting performance by recovering the dust collecting performance. SOLUTION: This centrifugal dust collector is equipped with an internal separating chamber 4, an external separating chamber 60, an air suction port 2, and a discharging port. The internal separating chamber 4 has an approximately cylindrical shape, and centrifugally separates dust and dirt from dust-containing air by a rotary stream. The external separating chamber 60 has the internal separating chamber 4 inside, and simultaneously further centrifugally separates dust and dirt from the exhaust air in which a part of dust and dirt has been separated by the internal separating chamber 4 by a rotary stream. The air suction port 2 makes the dust-containing air flow in from the outside of the external separating chamber 60 in the tangential direction of the internal wall of the internal separating chamber 4. The discharging port discharges the exhaust air in which a part of dust and dirt has been separated by the internal separating chamber 4 toward the external separating chamber 60 in the approximately circumferential direction of the external wall of the internal separating chamber 4. On the side surface profile of the external separating chamber 60, a dust collecting element 7 having a filter 6 for filtering dust and dirt is formed. Then, a dust removing apparatus 21 which performs the dust removal of the dust collecting element 7 is attached above. The centrifugal force dust collecting apparatus can increase the capturing efficiency for dust and dirt by the cyclone effect, and can maintain the dust collecting performance by the dust removing apparatus.
