SOLUTION: Game media passing through are detected by a plurality of sensors provided in the aligning path or the like of the game machine, signals are outputted, the number of the game media supplied for a game or the like is outputted as a signal from a main body substrate, and the output signals are inputted to a control means to obtain the value of a virtual credit. A main body credit indicating the number of the game media present inside the game machine is provided on the main body substrate, a light emitting element for displaying the value of the main body credit by a binary number is provided on the main body substrate, a light receiving sensor is provided near the light emitting element, and a light receiving signal is outputted to the control means when detecting light from the light emitting element. The control means recognizes the value of the main body credit using the light receiving signal, compares the value of the main body credit with the value of the virtual credit, and detects abnormality when a difference between the two values exceeds a prescribed range.
