A METHOD FOR DETECTING THE AUTOMATIC ANSWERING AND AN APPARATUS THEREOF

A method for detecting the automatic answering and an apparatus thereof are provided. The method comprises the following steps: detecting the energy of the input signal, when the speech signal is detected, starting timing of the speech signal, and on detecting the first speech signal pause, start timing of the pause interval, if the time of the pause interval arrives at the maximal pause threshold, then the speech signal is determined as a human answering; otherwise, when detecting the speech signal pause subsequently, restart timing of the pause interval, and when the time of the pause interval of restart timing arrives at the minimal pause threshold, the speech signal is determined as a human answering; when the timing of the speech signal arrives at the said automatic answering threshold, if the human answering is still undetected, then the speech signal is determined as an answering from the automatic answering equipment, the said automatic answering threshold is greater than the maximal pause threshold. After applying the solution of the present invention, when the first detecting of the pause fails, the detecting of the subsequent pause interval can be continued by using the minimal pause threshold, thus the accuracy rate of the answering detection can be effectively improved.
