In a rolling process to make a flexible ribbon with a cathode anti-corrosion coating, the ribbon material feeds between a nip gap of the required thickness. The hot dipped- or electro-galvanized steel is presented in hot or cold condition and is then cold-rolled and the gap varied as required.
