<p>A system and a method for controlling a multimedia player by using handwriting input are provided to input a control command for controlling the multimedia player through handwriting using a touch pad without a complicated user interface to operate the multimedia player intuitively. A system for controlling a multimedia player by using handwriting input includes a handwriting instruction input module(140), a handwriting instruction recognition module(150), and a controller(160). The handwriting instruction input module receives a handwriting input from a user. The handwriting instruction recognition module recognizes the handwriting input received through the handwriting instruction input module as a handwriting instruction including at least one user input character or user input symbol according to a handwriting recognition algorithm. The controller executes an instruction to control the multimedia player when the handwriting input is recognized as a handwriting instruction corresponding to the instruction to control the multimedia player.</p> |
