A signal conversion device is provided to transmit a very high-speed signal provided from an Ethernet cable, through a coaxial cable, thereby forming an Ethernet transmission line at low cost as constructing communication environment for easily receiving a very high-speed Internet service by using the coaxial cable. An Ethernet terminal(100) is combined with an Ethernet cable(EC). A coaxial terminal(500) is combined with a coaxial cable(CC). A transmission processor(200) converts one pair of transmission signals being in balanced signal type of the Ethernet terminal into unbalanced signal types to provide as one signal line. A reception processor(300) converts receiving signals being in unbalanced signal type into one pair of balanced reception signal types to provide the converted signals to the Ethernet terminal. A signal distributor/combiner(400) provides the unbalanced signals to the coaxial terminal, and provides the unbalanced signals provided from the coaxial terminal to the reception processor.
