<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building capable of converting oscillation energy such as earthquake and wind which the building receives into electric energy with simple equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The building is constituted of a quake absorbing device 20 and/or a damping device 30, and a power generating device 10 which is attached to the quake absorbing device 20 and/or the damping device 30. The power generating device 10 is constituted from a plurality of piezoelectric devices 11 and a suspending part 12 which suspends the piezoelectric devices 11. According to deformation of the quake absorbing device 20 and/or the damping device 30, the plurality of piezoelectric devices 11 suspended by the suspending 12 are collided with each other, thus generating power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
