<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lock device for applying forward bringing-down force to a seat back part with a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: This seat lock device is provided for fixing the rotatable seat back part of a rear seat to a car body. The seat lock device has: a lock mechanism part composed of a striker arranged in the car body; a baseplate installed in a seat back frame in the seat back part and having an engaging groove of engaging with the striker; a latch for mooring the striker to the engaging groove, a ratchet for holding the latch in the lock direction and a releasing lever for moving the ratchet in the lock releasing direction; and a rod spring having one end installed in the seat back frame and having the other end deflects by abutting on the striker in locking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
