PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring recorder capable of eliminating the necessity of manual operation such as the replacement of a recording medium, capable of recording monitoring image data for a long time and having high security. SOLUTION: Monitoring image data obtained by a monitoring recorder (100) are transferred to an image accumulation device (810) through a network. In the case of transferring the monitoring image data, individual identification information is transferred (S103, S201) between the image accumulation device (810) and the monitoring recorder (100) and authenticated.
