PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational socket for a small electric bulb by standardizing a main body part and combining members suited for mounting on an equipment. SOLUTION: The socket 1 for a small electric bulb is structured by mounting a socket main body 2 having a base rest part 8 inside formed of an insulating resin material, and a lid 3 having an electric contact piece at a rear opening of the socket main body 2, and, with the use of a mounting device 19 consisting of a holder part 20 as divided components A, B separate from the socket for the small bulb for hugging the socket main body 2 and a mounting part 21 fitted to the equipment, responds to various mounting methods of equipment required for selective uses of various mounting devices.
