PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fluorine-containing acid fluoride compound which can be produced from easily available raw materials and has an iodophenyl group or bromophenyl group in the molecule. SOLUTION: This fluorine-containing acid fluoride compound represented by the general formula [wherein, Rf is a 2-4C linear or branched perfluoroalkylene group; X is an iodine atom or bromine atom; (n) is an integer of 0 to 130]. The fluorine-containing acid fluoride compound can suitably be used as a main raw material for elastomeric polymers.
