PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method for carrying rollers of a conveyor capable of cleaning foreign matters, such as particles, adhered to the carrying rollers of the conveyor for a short time without using operator's hands. SOLUTION: A cleaning member 10 having a foreign matter removing means 3 for removing foreign matters, such as particles, by attraction etc. is traveled on the carrying rollers 4 of the conveyor, and foreign matters, such as particles, adhered to the carrying rollers 4 are removed by the foreign matter removing means 3 abutting on the carrying rollers 4. The foreign matters adhered to the carrying rollers 4 are for example, metal powder. A water-absorbing porous member, such as a sponge, is used for the foreign matter removing means 3.
