The sensor (10) has a sensor head (12) with an output signal that is measurable via a cable (16). The sensor head is rotatably attachable in a retaining unit by a collet. A cable outlet (14) leads the cable in a cable outlet angle (18) of approximately 45 degree with respect to a sensor head axis (13) of the sensor head. The collet has a recess and a clamping unit. The sensor head determines a magnetic field influenced by a sensor wheel. The sensor head is made of metal or resistant plastic. The cable outlet is made of plastic.
