<p>A swivel hinge assembly and a portable electronic device with the hinge assembly are provided to minimize the inner space of the portable electronic device including the swivel hinge assembly to reduce the size of the electronic device. A swivel hinge assembly(20) includes a fixed bracket(22), a rotating bracket(26), and a stopping washer(40). The fixed bracket is combined with a portable electronic device and has a first rotating axis(24) on which a display unit of the electronic device rotates to the left and right. The rotating bracket is rotatably attached to one side of the first rotating axis, and combined with the display unit of the electronic device and includes a second rotating axis(29) and a control axis(30) which are the forward and backward rotating center of the display unit. The stopping washer is inserted into the first rotating axis and fixed thereto.</p> |
