THERMOPLASTIC POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING IMPROVED PAINT ADHESION

A thermoplastic polyamide resin composition is provided to improve paint adhesion and to enhance impact strength, heat resistance, shrinkage resistance and appearance characteristics. A thermoplastic polyamide resin composition comprises 40-98 wt% of a crystalline polyamide resin; 0.1-30 wt% of a polyalcohol; and 0.1-30 wt% of an epoxy resin. Preferably the crystalline polyamide resin has a relative viscosity of 2.0-3.7 and a number average molecular weight of 5,000-70,000; and the polyalcohol has a viscosity of 40-500 cps and a number average molecular weight of 150-2,000; and the epoxy resin has a number average molecular weight of 5,000-200,000 and an epoxy equivalence of 100-6,000 g/eq.
