An active matrix organic light emitting diode display is provided to improve brightness uniformity of a displayed image by supplying uniform current to all pixels in the OLED. An active matrix organic light emitting diode display includes an OLED, a driving transistor, a memory capacitor, a switching transistor, and a programming transistor. The driving transistor includes a drain connected to the OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode), and a source to which a driving voltage is applied. The memory capacitor is connected to the gate and source of the driving transistor in parallel. The switching transistor includes a gate and a drain to which scan and data signals are applied, and a source connected to the gate of the driving transistor. The programming transistor includes a gate and a drain connected to the gate and drain of the switching transistor, and a drain connected to the drain of the driving transistor. A current controller determines the current passing through the driving transistor and the programming transistor.
