<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food, a pharmaceutical preparation and a feed each helping treating and/or preventing various diseases derived from hypoadiponectinemia, insulin-resistant sthenia, etc. (e.g. metabolic syndrome, diabetes and complications thereof, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and diseases derived therefrom, cancer including endometrial cancer, postmenopausal breast cancer, leukemia, colon cancer, stomach cancer and prostate cancer). <P>SOLUTION: An adiponectin production promoter with resveratrol as active ingredient is provided.
