<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance work support system, for enhancing safety in maintenance of target equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A central control room 4 includes a server 44, a data image-voice communication device 41, and a private broadcasting device 43. A portable field work maintenance support device 22 connected thereto by a communication line 3a through the communication device 41 includes a data image display device 22b which displays relevant information of plant equipment 1 stored in the server 44 and a voice communication device 22e which outputs voice information thereof.
