<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of radiofrequency electrodes by which a shape and size of a wound can be finished with fewer reduced chances of bleeding. <P>SOLUTION: The present disclosure relates to a radiofrequency (RF) electrosurgical system configured for monopolar and/or bipolar procedures by applying an optional number of active electrodes and return electrodes for producing a large ablation volume or producing multiple ablation volumes in tissue during a single procedure. Ways for using the electrosurgical system are also provided. The electrosurgical system includes an RF supply source such as an electrosurgical power source and a controller for operating RF energy transmission to a plurality of electrodes from a single power source output.
