<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning particle materials having a sufficiently high cleaning performance of the particle materials and a sufficiently high heat resistance, and developing sufficiently high cleaning performance of the particle materials even after being exposed at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for cleaning the particle materials which can clean by oxidizing the particle materials contained in exhaust gas from an internal engine includes a carrier comprising a composite oxide expressed by a composition formula: ZnFe<SB>x</SB>O<SB>y</SB>(wherein x shows a value in the range 1-3, and y shows a value in the range of 2.5-5.5) and cesium carried on the above carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
