PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a diffraction image whose shape is easily confirmed, and which is hardly read by an optical image reading machine. SOLUTION: The diffraction image display body 10 includes diffraction gratings 12a and 12b that are adjacent to each other. The diffraction gratings 12a and 12b have different spatial frequencies of grids and/or array directions of grids from each other. The difference in the spatial frequencies is≤7 pieces/mm, and the difference in the array direction is≤2°, a boundary between the image displayed by the diffraction grating 12a and the image displayed by the diffraction grating 12b can be visibly confirmed.
