PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a liquid jet head which can suppress poor leak of a fusing part between a liquid supply needle and a holding member by reducing a difference in fusing quality of the fusing part. SOLUTION: In a cartridge case receiving jig 80 which supports a cartridge case 21 from the side opposite to the ink supply needle 26, a first groove 83 which avoids contact to the cartridge case 21 is formed in a region opposed to the fusing part 70 between the cartridge case 21 and the ink supply needle 26 on a support surface 81 which contacts with the cartridge case 21. By using the cartridge case receiving jig 80, after the cartridge case 21 is supported by the cartridge case receiving jig 80 and the ink supply needle 26 is placed at a predetermined position of the cartridge case 21, the ink supply needle 26 and the cartridge case 21 are fused to each other by pressing an ultrasonic horn 90 to the ink supply needle 26 from the opposite side to the cartridge case 21.
