PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a nesfatin-1 receptor and to provide a method for screening or designing a nesfatin-1 action controlling substance or substance with nesfatin-1-like action by using the nesfatin-1 receptor. SOLUTION: The method for screening substance with nesfatin-1-like action comprises the step making a test substance act to a receptor protein selected from a group consisting of the GPR3, GPR6 and GPR12, and the step identifying the substance with nesfatin-1-like action based on the changes of the nesfatin-1 action.
