PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor for generating a wad of paper money that can be managed as desired with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This paper money processor is provided with a CPU for deciding whether or not the denomination of paper money included in accumulated paper money is the same as preliminarily designated denomination based on the RFID data of paper money read by an RFID reader, and for deciding whether or not the number of paper money included in the accumulated paper money is equal to the preliminarily designated number; and binding processing means 15a, 15b, 16 and 17 for operating binding processing by winding a binding tape around the accumulated paper money placed on the accumulated paper money placing part 10; and configured to make the binding processing means 15a, 15b, 16 and 17 start binding processing when it is decided that the denomination of the paper money included in the accumulated paper money is the same as preliminarily designated denomination, and that the number of paper money included in the accumulated paper money is equal to the preliminarily designated number by the CPU.
