PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel fixing structure allowing the cost thereof to be reduced by reducing an amount of a sheet metal to be used. SOLUTION: Cut and raised parts 13g, 13h, 13i and 13j cut and raised from an upper end to a back side of a rear surface of a shield plate 13 and folded so as to be parallel to the rear surface of the shield plate 13 are formed. A fitting 16 is fixed to a lower end of the rear surface of the shield plate 13. An upper end part of the shield plate 13 is screwed directly to a front cabinet 11 and a lower end part of the shield plate 13 is attached to the front cabinet 11 via the fitting 16. Chassis brackets 17 and 18 are screwed to the cut and raised parts 13g, 13h, 13i and 13j at upper pier parts 17a and 18a and screwed to the fitting 16 at lower pier parts 17b and 18b.
