PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device allowing mounting of a sheet storing part without deteriorating operability, even when a cover member is provided. SOLUTION: When the sheet storing part 2 longer than a device main body 1A is mounted on the device main body 1A in this device, the cover member 17 movably mounted in the device main body 1A is pressed by the sheet storing part 2 to be projected from the device main body 1A, and a projecting part of the sheet storing part 2 is covered by the cover member 17. When the sheet storing part 2 is drawn, an interlocking member 18 storing the cover member 17 in the device main body 1A by being interlocked with the sheet storing part 2 is moved to a position where the cover member 17 is interlocked with the sheet storing part 2 when drawing the sheet storing part 2, and the interlocking member 18 is moved to a position where mounting of the sheet storing part 2 is not hindered when mounting the sheet storing part 2.
