PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire whose durability is improved by suppressing separation in the wound-up ends of a carcass layer while reducing road noise of a middle frequency. SOLUTION: The ends 5a of the carcass layer 5 in which bead cores 4 are wound up are extended up to the inside of the end 7a of the belt layer 7 and folded back inwardly from the outside of the tire to the radial inside of the tire.
